Where to Watch the Olympics in Bloomingdale

It only happens every four years! The 2016 Olympics are about to kick off in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Friday, August 5. The Olympics are all about the world coming together, so why not watch the Games surrounded by friends and neighbors? The following restaurants and bars in Bloomingdale deserve a gold medal for their deals and events planned for the Olympics. Check back over the next two weeks — we’ll be adding events as we hear about them!

The Abbey Pub (237 W 105th St @ Broadway)
This Irish pub institution located just off Broadway now opens at noon every day except Monday
and will be broadcasting all the Olympic events, live from Rio!

Hours: Mon 4pm-4am // Tue-Sun noon-4am
Specials: Happy Hour Everyday 4pm-7pm
Sunday Brunch noon-4pm

Amity Hall (982 Amsterdam @ 109th St)
Newcomer to Bloomingdale, Amity Hall, will become Olympics HQ for the next two weeks, showing
all available sporting events. Enjoy the sports bar atmosphere with a diverse menu that will make
everyone happy.

Hours: Sun-Wed 11am-2am // Thu-Sat 11am-3am

pastas and wine while supporting your favorite countries at Arco Cafe. Don’t worry — you don’t have
to root for Italy!

Bob’s Your Uncle (929 Columbus @ 106th St)
If you haven’t checked out Bob’s Your Uncle, now’s your chance! This hole-in-the-wall neighborhood
bar will be showing the Opening Ceremonies with sound and other main events throughout the month. Stop
by on Saturday, August 6 at 4pm to watch the US Women’s Soccer Team face off against France.

West End Hall (2756 Broadway @ 106th St)
Cheer on your favorite Olympians inside at the bar and in the backyard beer garden or take a break
in the outdoor sidewalk cafe. Free shots at the bar whenever the US wins a gold medal! Gather your friends
to play games like giant Jenga, checkers, foosball, and shuffleboard — winners get a West End Hall gold
